The "New Feed Generation" Fund presented awards during the 2nd Tianmu Lake Forum

On November 12, 2013, the second Tianmu Lake Forum opened on the banks of Tianmu Lake in Liyang. At this forum, not only did more than 10 experts give keynote speeches, but also attendees discussed and exchanged ideas on "building a competitive force for feed enterprises to survive for happiness". Finally, an award ceremony for the "New Feed Generation" Fund was held.

The New Feed Generation Fund was established by Zhengchang Group as a special reward fund at the first Tianmu Lake Forum in 2012. The establishment of this fund is aimed at encouraging and supporting more technical personnel in the feed industry to contribute to production management and technological innovation research. The initial start-up capital was 2 million RMB provided by Zhengchang Group.

When establishing the "New Feed Generation" fund, Hao Bo, Chairman of Zhengchang Group, said that this fund is an organic component of the Tianmu Lake Forum and will continue to exist with the forum for a long time. The fund will reward individuals or organizations who receive quarterly and annual awards through the expert evaluation mechanism of the Tianmu Lake Forum, in order to support the development of China's feed industry.

The award of the fund was once again held at this forum. The expert group evaluates the information shared and suggestions put forward by the attending representatives in the "Group Roundtable Forum" segment. Among them, the fourth group with the highest number of valuable suggestions received the "Winning Team Award"; Ten attending representatives, including Manager Zhang from Xinjiang Tiankang Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, Manager Gong from Fujian Dabei Agricultural Feed Co., Ltd., and Manager Shu from Zhengda Kangdi Group, won the "Outstanding Individual Award"; Five attending representatives, including Vice President Li of Hefei Huaren Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Group, Manager Han of Shanxi Elephant Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Group, and Manager Zhang of Shaanxi Shiyang Group, won the third prize; Three attending representatives, Gao Manager of Xinjiang Tiankang Animal Husbandry Biology, Mao Factory Manager of New Hope Liuhe Group, and Chen Manager of Beijing Jiuzhou Dadi, won the "Second Prize", while Engineer Wu from Guangdong Wenshi Group won the "First Prize". The "Special Prize" of this forum was won by Dr. Cheng Zongjia from the Animal Nutrition and Feed Center of COFCO Nutrition and Health Research Institute. His topic on "Positive Development and Progress of Feed (Research Achievements of Expanded Feed)" has been unanimously recognized by experts. Experts believe that in the past year, Dr. Cheng Zongjia has been committed to the research and experiment of low-temperature expansion feed on the production of dairy pigs, and has successfully applied new expansion technology in pig breeding, achieving a significant increase in the weight of 21 day old weaned piglets from 52KG to 63KG. This is a remarkable achievement, and a prize of 8000 yuan has been awarded to encourage him. All prize money and prizes for this award will be provided by the New Feed Generation Fund.

During the award process, several award-winning representatives gave speeches, expressing gratitude for being awarded the "New Feed Generation" Fund and expressing their willingness to work harder in the future to contribute to the development of China's feed industry. They also hoped to have more opportunities to participate in the Tianmu Lake Forum, exchange and learn from each other with more colleagues.

The award ceremony of the "New Feed Generation" Fund is a recognition of the achievements of award-winning experts and technical personnel in the feed industry. It

 also encourages more feed industry elites to make more efforts for the Chinese feed industry. At the same time, it is hoped that more and more feed industry elites will join the Tianmu Lake Forum and contribute to the industry's grand event.
